The last post was just supposed to be these two videos and turned into a bit of something extra. Guess it was my mind's way of keeping me from thinking about my rumbling tummy (I'm hungry, therefore I write).

I was struck by the singer that it took me a while to take notice of exactly what this commercial was for. I remember sitting through it with the express purpose of finding out exactly what they were pimping and it wasn't until five minutes later that I realized that I failed to take notice that they were hawking Visa Cards. Once that mystery was solved, I needed to find out the singer. Considering how many times I've watched my VHS tapes of Blond Ambition, Truth or Dare and the Girlie Show and enthralled with her as much as I was with Madonna, I'm kinda surprised that I didn't realize it was Niki Haris!!! She and Donna DelRoy did back up for Madonna on a lot of her tours. Sassy and a bit on the chunky side, Niki was my favorite of the two.
