Obvious from this 1st picture, there was some issues with my photo taking ability after about two vodka tonics. Drinking while shooting kept me from getting good shots of the Grand Marshall, Valerie "Rhoda!" Harper and DC's Mayor, Adrian Fenty. Judging from "the film," apparently my penis thought he had a better eye than me and took over camera duty. Can you guess where?

Except for when you have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get a good spot and the big show doesn't start until 2:30pm . . . or 4pm. So I decided to witness history from the comfort of my warm home, I figured it was enough to play my tiny part by dropping rousing M awake at three-thirty in the morning and getting him down to the Metro.
M had a plum spot on the parade route (And of course, told me he could've gotten me into the bleachers after the fact.), about block away from the presidential viewing box. He caught this shot on his cell phone-- after the press truck cleared out of his way.
