Year in Review: Promise! Promise! [With Cast Commentary]
Regrettably pinched from Redzilla. I looked at each month of 2008, pulled the first sentence from the first post (or the first one that anything other than audio or video) and discovered there was a lot stuff I just didn't get around to doing this year.
January: I went to the Calendar [Store] today and there was a bit of an internal debate as to who I wanted to spend the next 365 days with in my study while I cranked out the page a day -- at least!-- of writing that I promised myself this year. [Felipe Now: Damn it! I think I promise myself this every year-- and eventually renege on the deal. Not this this year! Future Felipe: Oh! A new Heroes. This shits eventually gotta get better. I bet tonight's the night. I'll just do two pages tomorrow. ]
February: When I packed last week to head back to Carolina, I neglected to bring the book 4, The Amber Spyglass.[52 in 365, another failed ambition. *sigh* Now I know I just keep it moving forward and never look back.]
March: I got a letter from my lawyer yesterday. [No. Not about my failed green card marriage. Whew! Flipping back through my post, I felt a sense of dread that this would be about the trip NYC that never happened. Damn, me and my chickenshit self Dolly and her bad back.]
April: In honor of Method Man's 37th birthday, I proudly present the pain . . . [But did I proudly present anything to my Daddy whose birthday is the same day? No.]
May: a.) my brother took my nieces and nephew to a Lil Wayne concert . . . [Definitely b. Damn you, Soulja Boy!]
June: Inspired by this morning commute. [And uninspiring to the rest of ya.]
At the half point I'd like to pause to remember some of my Vox neighbors that disappeared this past year.

October: Or should I say Fabulist
Friday, since (inspired by Mahoganie) this is a special dedication to rootin' tootin' Sarah Palin. [I can't wait for the day that she disappears back into irrevalancy. Future Felipe: Is the RNC on crack? Her? Really. Senator Palin. Kay. No worries. Premier Obama will crush like bug. Hey, does anyone have spare burlap, I need new shoes . . .]
November: Miss Mavis has a live album dropping tomorrow, Live: Hope At The Hideout.
December: The title of this tune basically sums up the sense of elation I felt as I filled out Nutcracker comp request. "Already Gone." [Hell, I'm tired of linking. Just scroll down.]

I know i fell off the face of the earth, i do that though, vox had run its course for me... I really should get back into it. I think i will post something right now!
BTW: love the new pic/look for your page, you're so damn cute.
I'm still holding it down here, but have gotten kinda lax-- not to mention overwhelmed at work.
BTW: With comments like that, I thinking it's my ego that missed you most. Thanks!
